Shillong, Sept 2: Meghalaya Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh has announced the calendar of major state festivals for this year, beginning October 14.
The celebrations will kick off with the Megha Kayak Festival and the 4×4 Offroad Challenge in October. In November, the lineup includes the highly anticipated Cherry Blossom Festival, the Shillong Literary Festival, and the Me-Gong Festival. The festivities will conclude in December with the popular Winter Tales.
These events are expected to draw large crowds of locals and tourists alike, further strengthening Meghalaya’s image as a vibrant cultural and adventure tourism hub.
