Mawkyrwat, February 24: The MLA of Mawkyrwat constituency, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar today released MLA schemes from the Special Rural Works Programme(SRWP) Scheme which amounts to more than ₹2 crores at the compound of the HSPDP party office in Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District.
On this day were also present the BDO of Mawkyrwat CR&D Block,Shri.I.Lawrynniang, MCS, elders and also beneficiaries of the different schemes.
As a reminder, this is the third release of MLA Schemes with this being for the year 2020 and 2021 in which about 1130 people are private beneficiaries while others include amenities for villages and localities such as pavements, clothes washing sites, playgrounds, bus sheds and extensions of classrooms in educational institutions.
Other schemes released today include the Chief Minister Special Rural Development Fund(CMSRDF), Intensive Arts & Cultural Development Programme( IACDP), Development of Traditional Folk Music (DTFM) and Intensive Sports & Youths Development Programme (ISYDP).
