The party has shown faith in the youths of Meghalaya who will help the party to recapture the glory of the state as the corrupt old faces backstabbed the party for the greed of money and power.
“The old faces used the party to come to power and fulfilled their personal interest while in power. But they left the party to join Bengal-based Bengali party and other parties to fulfill their monetary ambitions also to be in power” said Manish Chatrath, AICC Incharge Meghalaya.
The new faces of the INC are fresh and most of them are going to contest the upcoming Meghalaya Assembly Election for the first time. It’s like kids starting their early life. The new faces are non-corrupt, many of them highly educated having good professional background, 26 to 46 year old young people who all are fighting to make Meghalaya 5 Star, more ambitious to work for the state.
