Adelbert Nongrum, MLA of North Shillong constituency said that the relocation of Them Ïew Mawlong residents should be hasten because it is necessary to reopen the road which had been shutdown by the army.
Speaking with Adelbert Nongrum after a special programme which was held at Mawkhar Christian Higher Secondary School, he informed that it is no longer the right time to postpone or delay the plan to relocate the residents, but actions should be carried and resonate loud because as an MLA he needs his constituency to be free from long traffic jams and for peace to return, and until the area in Them Ïew Mawlong is not made free, traffic jams and problems of the people will continue.
