Shillong: The Education Minister of Meghalaya, Lahkmen Rymbui said that the State Government recently had received the fund allocation from the Central Government, an amount of Rs.272 crores which is part of the 1st installment to which will be added the state share to facilitate the payment of salaries to the SSA teachers in the State.
With regards to the preparation to ensure salaries are paid once in three months or quarterly, Rymbui said that this matter is still under discussion between the Education Department and the Finance Department, so that the process can be carried out smoothly as per what had been discussed in the meeting held on the 21st of July 2022.
