SHILLONG, August 27: The Office of the Block Development Officer of Mawryngkneng C&RD Block on Friday the 26th of August organised a Mela Camp and Awareness programme in connection with the implementation of government schemes at the Football Ground in Diengpasoh.
On this day the residents of Diengpasoh and nearby villages in hundreds benefitted as their names were registered to receive benefits of the Aadhar card, Pm-KISAN, Farmers ID and E-Shram card.
On this day the MLA of Mawryngkneng who is also the MDC, Pynïaid Sing Syiem as the Chief Guest inaugurated the awareness programme in which were also present the BDO, A.R Kynta, David Nonglait, Development Officer of Horticulture Sohryngkham Circle, P.War, Labor Inspector East Khasi Hills as well the Sordars of Diengpasoh.
On this day the local residents of Diengpasoh as well as of nearby villages received elaborate explanations on how to get different central government schemes meant for farmers, E-Shram and other schemes by clarifying to them on how to register their names.
