The Meghalaya Football Association (MFA) announced that the league which the football lovers in the State have been looking forward to very much, the Meghalaya State League(MSL) will start in October with well-known clubs from all the districts participating.
Speaking with media persons, the MFA informed that the Youth League in the category of U-13,U-15, and U-17 will also be held and the winners of this Youth League will be selected to represent the State in tournaments which will be conducted soon by the All India Football Federation.
It was also informed that the MSL is supported by the State Government from the very start of the league, and through this league the winners from different tournaments organised by the different associations in the State and also in October, many other leagues in all the districts of the State will be organised with the knowledge of the leaders of the MFA so that playgrounds in other districts can be shortlisted.
