Mawkyrwat,July 17: The State Government has granted an ex-gratia of Rs.4 lakhs to the family of the woman who died in the landslide in Jashiar village, SWKHD. This was informed by Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar, MLA of Mawkyrwat after his inspection and sympathies visit to the family which had met with the unfortunate incident resulting from the landslide which occurred on the 16th of June at Jashiar village,South West Khasi Hills District.
On this day were also present the Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills District,C.Kharkongor and the S.P of Mawkyrwat, B.Laloo as well as other government officials and elders who went and expressed their sympathies towards the bereaved family.
