In one shockingly horrifying incident, a man is suspected of killing his two children who are 4 years and 2 years of age last night in Wahktieh which is in Nongrah Nonglum.
The father of the children, identified as Jefferson Jana is suspected of having committed this heinous crime and is now absconding.
As per the statement of the relatives, this man took his two children for a stroll as he usually does every evening.
The relatives filed an FIR at the Rynjah Police Station yesterday at 11:30 PM after he could not be reached via phone which was switched off.
What horrified and shocked everyone was the dead bodies of the two children being found by the local residents at about 8:15 AM this morning.
With regards to this matter, the SP (City), Vivek Syiem immediately rushed to the spot for investigation.
