Jowai: The continuous rain accompanied by strong winds in the past few days caused major damages and many lives lost, to which is added one more today in the early hours of the morning at around 3:00 AM when Premel Bamonl lost his life after a pine tree fell on top of his house and damaged his house while he was asleep at his Quarter of the PWD,Jowai in Ladthadlaboh,Jowai. The tree fell on the roof of the bedroom of Premel Bamonl which resulted in this unfortunate incident.
Premel Bamonl was employed as a Home Guard personnel engaged in traffic management in Jowai.
The police have taken his body into custody for legal formalities to be completed.
