The book on the life of the freedom fighter from the Khasi Jaiñtia Hills who fought closely with Syiem Tirot Sing, Phan Nonglait, was today released at the Conference Room of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
On this day were also present Daniel Stone Lyngdoh who is the author of this book, Jambor War who is the EM of Elaka, Victor Ranee, MDC of Jirang, Lambokstar Marngar, President of the Khasi Students’Union, Kaushal Goyal, CEO and Director of GBD Books and other invitees.
Daniel Stone Lyngdoh, a lawyer by profession who has written this book, said that the initiative taken by him to write this book on Phan Nonglait is after he had seen her bravery and readiness to sacrifice her life for the land of the Hynniewtrep, and as an author, he wants that this book may inspire others to overcome many different challenges in life.
Furthermore, he said that it is not easy to publish a book, but through the help and support of others, he has succeeded in publishing this book today, and this book will be available at the KHADC, Amazon, Flipkart at a price of Rs.495/-.
