Mawkyrwat, April 02: Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar,MLA Mawkyrwat constituency who is also the PHE Minister,today inaugurated the Community Hall Marshillong,South West Khasi Hills District in the presence of I.Lawriniang,MCS,BDO Mawkyrwat, Myntri of Marshillong village,Gilbert Thongni and also prominent elders and women who came to witness the inauguration of the Community Hall Marshillong.
Speaking as the Chief Guest, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar said that it is a great blessing to get this community hall to be used when required for several occasions, be it to organise a gathering to deliberate on the forward movement of developmental works in the village.
Furthermore,he said that the villages of Marshillong, Sakwang and Pyndensakwang are very lucky indeed for soon they will get tap water connection in every household for which more than Rs.13 crores has been allocated to provide water in these three villages through the RIDF scheme of the Central Government.
