SHILLONG,April 01: The MLA of United Democratic Party (UDP) from Mawthadraishan, HmB Nongsiej also known as Bah Brol who has been made stronger as the Assembly Election of 2023 is nearing,in just two months upto over 900 have newly joined the United Democratic Party (UDP) in Mawthadraishan.
This was witnessed on Thursday in a meeting held to welcome to welcome the prominent leaders and women who newly joined the UDP. The ones who have joined used to be enthusiastically work for the Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP),the Congress, the PDF and others.
From the 900 who joined the party about 150 prominent leaders including women were welcomed in the gathering by the Vice President of the UDP, Central body, Lahkmen Rymbui who is also a Minister in the State Government in a meeting held at the residential compound of the MLA of Mawthadraishan in Kynshi along with the MDC Jambor War and other leaders of the UDP, Mawthadraishan Circle.
A few of these senior leaders who are more prominent after being welcomed by the UDP said that the basis for their decision to join the UDP is over the ability of the MLA in bringing many developmental works whether it be in the form of roads, schools, health care facility and others which have uplifted the locality and the area.
