INDIAN STUDENT DIES AFTER RUSSIAN MISSILE ATTACK IN KHARKIV, UKRAINE

In a tragic incident, one Indian student identified as Naveen Shekharappa Gyanagoudar from Chalageri in Karnataka’s Haveri District lost his life after a Russian missile exploded in Kharkiv.

It has been informed that Naveen who was studying in the Kharkiv National Medical University passed away after he left his residence to go to a railway station but unfortunately the missile bomb landed on one building in which Naveen was present.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Arindam Bagchi through a tweet has confirmed this news and informed that the Ministry is in touch with the family of the deceased while expressing his condolences on behalf of the Ministry on the death of this young man.

It was informed that the Central Government has already deployed 20 flights of Air India, Air India Express, Indigo, Spice Jet along with Airforce personnels to evacuate the Indian students stuck in Ukraine and in the neighbouring countries where they have fled for safety.
