Shillong: COLKS Skill with its office in Umpling successfully conducted a training programme for the youths on preparation and packaging of food products to enable a better marketability of the products.
In this training session, COLKS Skill was successful in gathering about 15 youths from Sohbar, Mawkynrew,Ranikor and Khliehriat and the food products they were trained to prepare include Papads, Chips, Pickles and Juices.
The training programme was sponsored by the Border Area Development and was carried out for 6 days, from the 14th to the 19th of this month.
Banroi Tang, an expert on preparation and packaging of food products was one of the trainers in the training programme.
