Kamrup, 10 February. In the Rajapara area of Voko in Kamrup district, the police have arrested two people by conducting a campaign in fake currency notes of three crore rupees. Police said on Thursday that on the basis of secret information, during a local operation, Shaheedul Islam and Nabiul Islam, involved in the business of counterfeit currency, have been arrested. Both the arrested accused are said to be residents of Kis Krishnai in Gwalpara district. This campaign was carried out under the leadership of Boko police station in-charge Bhadreshwar Pegu. During the search operation carried out by the police, both the accused were arrested along with Rs 3 crore counterfeit currency from Swift Desire car (AS 01 BM 4788). Police is investigating the matter by registering an FIR in this regard.
