Shillong : The President of the BJP in Meghalaya, Ernest Mawrie expressed that as a leader of the party, he fully disagrees with the decision of the 5 Congress MLAs to come forward and extend their support to the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) Government.
Mawrie metaphorically stated that a tiger and a deer will never drink from the same flowing river at the same time and with regards to the acceptance of the 5 Congress MLAs by the MDA Government to support the Government, he said that he will have to inform of the same to the leaders in the Central body of the party in Delhi.
Speaking with media persons, he said that as a leader of the party in the state, he was very much surprised to find and see this move and he said that he will speak with Conrad K.Sangma on this decision taken by him in accepting the proposal of the Congress MLAs to extend their support to the MDA Government now.
