SHILLONG, February 02: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma informed that the police have been able to arrest all those involved in the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast on Sunday evening in Khyndailad.
As per the statement of the Chief Minister the people arrested for being involved in the incident includes people who sold gallatin sticks or materials used for the blast and also the ones who planted the bomb. He informed that the police today are conducting thorough investigation to find out more incase more are involved or helped them.
On being asked,Sangma informed that there are 4 persons involved in the bomb blast, and also further informed that the ones arrested are supporters of the militant outfit, Hynñiewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC), and the level of contact these persons have with the HNLC is currently being investigated.
