Mawkyrwat: 22/12/2021: HFU organised an Advance Christmas celebration by cutting a cake along with the patients of CHC,Mawkyrwat. The celebration was attended by President of HFU,Central Body,Commander Shangpliang, Dr.A.Lyngdoh, B.Kharlyngdoh, Head Nurse of CHC,Mawkyrwat and other members of HFU, South West Khasi Hills District which include, Rymphai Kharkongor, General Secretary, Firmly Ïawphniaw, President of HFU,SWKHD.
The aim of the celebration was to have a celebration along with the patients of CHC, Mawkyrwat to uplift their spirits and even if they cannot celebrate the joyous occasion along with their family members, they will get a chance to be a part of the Christmas joy through the Advance Christmas and hopeful New Year celebration. With about 90% of the people in SWKHD area being farmers, HFU sends a message of sympathy and best wishes to the patients that they may get back their health and also that they get a chance to celebrate this Christmas and welcome the New year with hope and joy along with their family members.
