SHILLONG, DECEMBER 18: The Dorbar Shnong of Mawkhar, today felicitated members of the Covid Committee Management Team(CCMT), the ASHA and Anganwadi workers from the locality who had played an active part in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. On this day, an Ambulance service meant for the emergency requirements of the people in the locality was also inaugurated.
The office bearers of Mawkhar Dorbar Shnong said that the felicitation of the frontline workers fighting the pandemic is to encourage them in their field of work, and at the same time, their felicitation is in part to especially thank them as well as an expression of gratitude for their services to the people of the locality without any fear.
With regard to the Ambulance service, Arwan Tariang, Rangbah Shnong of Mawkhar said that the Ambulance is donated by an office bearer of the Dorbar Shnong who was ready to provide the ambulance for the residents of the locality which will be of great help and service to them at any time that they require it.
