Shillong : The state government will continue to have a stake in the Mawmluh Cherra Cement Limited (MCCL) even as preparations for privatization is underway.

While talking to media persons, Chairman of MCCL, Shri Wailadmiki Shylla expressed that at present, the process has suffered a delay as tenders or EoI could not be floated due to the pandemic.

He further expressed confidence that after privatization, the renowned cement factory in the state will flourish again as the cement produced here is the best cement in the state.
