Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Bah Prestone Tynsong, has officially resumed his duties after being on medical leave for over a month due to a sudden health setback.
On Monday, October 14, Bah Prestone returned to his office at the Secretariat, where he was seen in high spirits, expressing gratitude for his recovery and his ability to get back to work.
In September, the Deputy Chief Minister had fallen ill due to a significant rise in blood pressure. He was initially treated at Nazareth Hospital in Shillong before being transferred to Apollo Hospital in Delhi for more advanced care. After receiving medical attention and making a full recovery, Bah Prestone is now back to carrying out his regular duties in the government.
His return to work has been met with relief and optimism, as he resumes his role in the state’s administration following his brief absence due to illness.
