The Unitarian Church marked its 137th anniversary in the North East with a special celebration held at the Unitarian Church in Laban, Shillong.
The event began with a morning prayer at 9 am, followed by an afternoon service at 2 pm, which featured candle lighting and prayers. *Meghalaya’s Director General of Police (DGP), Idashisha Nongrang*, served as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Members from other churches also joined the anniversary celebration, reflecting a spirit of unity and shared faith across the Christian community in the region.
