The leader of the Opposition in Meghalaya who is also the MLA of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) said that if he is elected to power, he will revoke the border resolution Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed before Amit Shah between the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K.Sangma and the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma.
He said that the border resolution between the Governments of the two States do not meet the expectations of the citizens, and what has been decided in the MoU is unacceptable to the public, and if the public do not accept it then why should it be forced, and as a political party it is their duty to protect the interest of the public
