SHILLONG, January 28: The two Chief Ministers of Meghalaya and Assam, Conrad Kongkal Sangma and Himanta Biswa Sarma will meet again tomorrow, the 29th of January in Guwahati to continue with the Border Resolution Talks on about 2 percent of the remaining border resolution in 6 sites of dispute from the 12 sites of the interstate border areas.
This was informed by the Chief Minister of Meghalaya after the Cabinet meeting today. The meeting of the two Chief Ministers is held prior to them being called again for another meeting with the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah in the few subsequent days.
Conrad Sangma has expressed hope that after the meeting tomorrow, the first phase of the Border Resolution Talks for the 6 sites that is Tarabari, Gizang Reserve Forest, Hahim, Boklapara, Pilangkata Khanapara, and Ratacherra will be completed.
