The Street vendors in Motphran and Bimola on the 19th of May were filled with immense happiness after the State Government agreed to give them a special recognition in the High Court.
Speaking with Kong Angela Rangad, she informed that the State Government upheld in the High Court that it will take the responsibility and accordingly follow the regulations pertaining to street vendors and with the Government taking up the task to recognise them, they will be free from encumbrances on the road.
Furthermore, Kong Angela informed that the Government has made it known to the Court that after giving them the recognition, the new act pertaining to street vendors will soon be implemented with the knowledge of the Town Vending Committee.
