The State Government under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Conrad K.Sangma held a second meeting with all stakeholders to discuss and resolve the border issue with Assam on Wednesday in Shillong.
Speaking with media persons after the meeting concluded, Conrad Sangma said that he got a chance to share the micro details of this task which the state government has undertaken in the further progress of the talk and resolution of the border issue especially in the 6 sites of dispute taken up in the first phase.
Sangma also said that there are groups that have come forward in expressing their concern and at the same time to also provide some suggestions to the Government on this matter.
On seeing the distress and concern of the civil society organisations, Sangma expressed that it will be wrong on the part of the Government if it does not inform or reveal all the steps that have been taken with regards to this task.
