Playnes Khiewtam, retired Additional Chief Engineer of the PWD who will be the candidate of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) from Shella constituency in 2023 said that Shella constituency is the most backward constituency in the State with regard to roads and other developmental projects.
Speaking today the 11th of August, 2022, Khiewtam said that of the 144 villages, up to 35 villages in Shella do not yet have any motorable road and it is the most backward constituency.
Not only roads but in other important needs too, the constituency is lagging behind with even mobile networks also being highly unreliable.
