Shillong: Eugeneson Lyngdoh,MLA of Mawphlang constituency who is also one the most famous and talented football players of the State praised and honoured Hering Shangpliang, one of the famous professional coaches of the state and who has been a part at several occasions in coaching and guiding different football clubs of the state while competing in the I. League.
The praise and honour extended by Eugeneson to Shangpliang was made on the inauguration day of the ENE Cup Football Tournament which began today at Sha Lum Umtyrñuit football ground.
At the very outset, Eugeneson could not without help but honour Shangpliang as one of the football coaches who has brought much accolades to the state as a whole with his coaching and training through which many youths got a chance to represent the state and the country also.
Turning to his personal life under the guide of Shangpliang, Eugeneson expressed that he was like the kids participating in this tournament and when he grew up he needed guidance not only on the field, but also advice and guidance on how to live and carry himself, and it was here that Eugeneson revealed that he is now as he is in his life due to the guidance of Hering Shangpliang.
It is on this basis that Eugeneson expressed that on such a day, he feels he should especially invite him to this event so that the kids in this day and age can know and recognise him or to see the example of how through obedience his life has helped him reap the fruits of success.
