SHILLONG, February 07: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma said that he has not received any information about the involvement of pressure groups in the IED bomb blast in Khyndailad on the evening of the 30th of January.
Following the IED bomb blast in Khyndailad, a news report emerged which stated that from the investigations conducted, one of the pressure groups in the state is involved, but till date, it has not been verified.
The Chief Minister said that it is only after he has received and read the full report will he be able to assuredly say on whether it is true or false that pressure groups are involved. At the same time, Sangma has expressed worrying concern on finding the youths being involved in such activities and said that the Government will try to create avenues for the youths especially through a Youth Policy.
