Nongpoh, May 13: Today the 13th of May, 2022, the Meghalaya Basin Development Agency, Nongpoh handed over financial assistance packages to 35 Producer Groups from different villages under Ri-Bhoi District, and these financial assistance packages was handed over to the representative of the Producer Groups by Mayralborn Syiem,MLA of Nongpoh constituency. The financial assistance package which was given to the Producer Groups amounts to more than Rs.20 lakhs for them to upgrade their work further.
The programme was held today at the Science Hall, Nongpoh in which Mayralborn Syiem was also present as Chief Guest along with other officers from the office of the Meghalaya Basin Development Agency, Nongpoh and the farmers from across the villages under Ri-Bhoi District.
