Meghalaya Riders Gear Up for Round 2 of MRF MO-GRIP Supercross Championship in Goa

Shillong: Four riders from Meghalaya are set to compete in Round 2 of the MRF MO-GRIP Supercross Championship 2026 in Navelim, Goa, on April 25, following strong performances in the opening round at Bhoirymbong.

The Meghalaya contingent — Meban Suiam, Paominthang Vaiphei, Elbis L. Lyngkhoi and Skhemborlang Dkhar — qualified for the next round after earning valuable championship points, marking a major boost for motorsports in the state.

Three of the riders have been training under three-time national champion Banteilang Jyrwa, whose mentorship has been credited with shaping their competitive edge.

With rising stakes and tougher competition ahead, the riders will be looking to build momentum and strengthen Meghalaya’s presence in the national championship standings.
