Shillong : The President of the BJP in Meghalaya, Ernest Mawrie happily welcomes the statement issued by the militant outfit in the Khasi Jaintia Hills, the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC),which expresses its readiness to finally come forward and have a peace talk with the Government.
Speaking with media persons, Mawrie expressed that the time is quite ripe for the party to lead and guide forward this work so that law and order as well as peace and harmony will prevail again in the state and the region as a whole.
