Nongpoh, June 02: The Office of the Block Development Officer, Bhoirymbong C&RD Block today the 2nd of June inaugurated the Amrit Sarobar scheme under the Amrit Mahotsav Programme for the development of the Mawtneng VEC fish pond in Mawtneng village under Bhoirymbong C&RD Block.
The scheme was inaugurated by B.J.Kharshandi, MCS, Director & Addl. District Programme as the Chief Guest in the presence also of Dr. C.J.K Warjri, BDO of Bhoirymbong C&RD Block, Kitboklang Kharlukhi, Chairman VEC, Mawtneng and members of the VEC.
On this day, J.B Kharshandi as Chief Guest handed over the work order to the Chairman of Mawtneng VEC of Rs.16,87,942/- for the development of the fish pond of Mawtneng village through the MGNREGS Scheme of 2022-2023.
