A man identified as Ravi Sunar and a resident of Downgate, Nongpoh hanged himself in one of the bathrooms in Shillong Civil Hospital.
Sunar was brought to Shillong Civil Hospital from Nongpoh on the evening of the 26th and today morning he was found to have hanged himself in this place.
As a reminder, Ravi Sunar was caught by the youth group or Seng Samla of Downgate, Nongpoh on the basis that he might be one of the 4 persons suspected of dealing in drugs.
