A man was found dead after a fall from the Dwar Ksuid Bridge in Bhoirymbong on Saturday morning.
Reports suggest that the man, originally from Sohra but residing in Jaiaw Laitdom, fell from the bridge while attempting to use the toilet.
The Dwar Ksuid Bridge lies on the route to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Madan Kurkalang, a popular event currently drawing large crowds to the area.
It remains unclear whether the man was on his way to the festival or merely passing through.
