The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has announced three additional candidates for the upcoming KHADC MDC elections. The candidates include Bah Starfing Jove Langpen Pdahkasiej from Mawsynram, Kong Phinda Warjri from Pariong, and Bah Srally Rashir from Mawshynrut.
The announcement was made today by the party’s president, Bah K. Plasting Pangiang. While addressing the media, he emphasized that despite the party’s alliance with the Regional Democratic Alliance (RDA) and the United Democratic Party (UDP), HSPDP will contest the elections independently.
The party president highlighted that HSPDP’s primary agenda remains the protection and preservation of the Khasi community’s traditional customs and culture.
