SHILLONG: The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) before moving forward with its campaign for the 2023 Assembly Election of the State inaugurated it’s office at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong in which the National General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee graced the occasion. On this day the Trinamool Congress leader also interacted with the office bearers of the TMC and leaders at a meeting held at Soso Tham Auditorium.
In this visit of the TMC leader, all the leaders including Dr.Mukul Sangma, Charles Pyngrope, George Lyngdoh and other MLAs who had exited the Congress last year were present, however, the MLA from Mawsynram, Himalaya M.Shangpliang and the MLA from Sutnga-Saipung, Shitlang Pale and 2 other MLAs from Garo Hills were not seen at all.
As per the news on the streets, these 2 MLAs who had just joined the AITC about half a year ago intend to contest the Assembly Election of 2023 from other parties and not from the AITC.
