Shillong, November 28: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma has informed that the Government will announce the sites where the Border Outposts will be put up for the safety and security of the citizens in the borders tomorrow.
This was made known by Conrad Sangma after the meeting of the different political parties in the State to address the incident in Mukroh in the past week.
Sangma also informed that the Government has lifted the ban on mobile internet, and the movement to and from Assam has also resumed from today under strict police surveillance.
With regards to the meeting with the different political parties of Meghalaya, Conrad Sangma informed that the Government has taken note of the suggestions given by the leaders who attended the meeting. He also informed that the Government has laid out in detailed the steps it has taken after the incident in Mukroh and also informed them of other steps which it plans to take especially with regards to setting up of border outposts in sensitive places at the border.
