The Home Minister of Meghalaya, Lahkmen Rymbui informed that the Government has received the official letter from the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) expressing its readiness to hold a peace talk without conditions.
As per the statement of Rymbui, the letter was addressed to the Chief Minister, Conrad Kongkal Sangma, the Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong and the Home Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui.
