Umïam Lake which is one of the many tourist attractions in the State, will now be developed and beautified to attract more tourists.
The Chairman of the MTDC, Saleng Sangma said that the construction of the floating restaurant has progressed ahead and this task has been undertaken by a company from Kolkata.
He said that the Department has urged the Contractor to speed up the construction process and may even be completed in the coming months.
Besides this, Umïam Lake will also have parasailing and Jet Skis to further attract the tourists and this will be started within a month.
