Nongpoh, August 29: In part to motivate the students who have graduated, the administrator Ri-Bhoi College on the 29th of August,2022 felicitated 325 students who cleared the graduation examination in Arts and Commerce.
In this felicitation ceremony Mayralborn Syiem, MLA of Nongpoh constituency was the Chief Guest in the presence also of S.S.R Bamon, Principal of Ri-Bhoi College as well as the teaching staff of the College.
In this programme, Daphira Khymdeit was honoured especially for securing first-class marks and featuring in the merit list of the University for Education Honours and the MLA also gifted her a cash packet.
In part to further motivate the students to do better and secure positions in examinations, the MLA announced that he will extend an assistance package every year to the students from Ri-Bhoi College who secure positions in examinations.
