The College of Teacher Education, PGT, Shillong held a Felicitation Programme on Saturday at its College Auditorium to honour meritorious student-teachers for their outstanding performance in the B.Ed. Final Examination 2025 conducted by North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
The programme was graced by Shri Shakliar Warjri, Hon’ble Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya, as the Chief Guest. Also present were Dr. Bahunlang Tron, Principal In-charge, Dr. Mary Anne Jyrwa, Associate Professor and Advisor of the Student Council, Shri W.L. Lyngdoh (IAS Retd.), President of the Governing Body, along with members, faculty, and student-teachers of the 1st and 3rd semesters.
The event was further enlivened by cultural performances, including songs and a fusion dance presented by student-teachers, adding colour and vibrancy to the celebration.
