SHILLONG, June 16: Following the torrential rain which has led to many people getting injured and dying in the past few days, the State Government through the Department of Education released an order to close all schools for 5 days starting from the 17th of June, 2022 to prevent any unfortunate incident.
It may be reminded that India Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning of heavy downpour across parts of Meghalaya which will continue for the next coming days.
