Shillong: Trials for the prestigious AIFF-FIFA Academy will be conducted in Shillong later this month to identify talented young footballers from Meghalaya for India’s elite youth development programme.
The trials will be held at the MFA Turf, Third Ground, Polo, and are open to boys and girls belonging to specific age categories.
According to organisers, girls born in 2011 and 2012 are eligible to participate, while boys must be born in 2012 or 2013.
The schedule for the trials is as follows:

18 February: Boys born in 2012

19 February: Boys born in 2013

20 February: Girls born in 2011 and 2012
The AIFF-FIFA Academy programme is part of India’s long-term youth development pathway aimed at nurturing high-potential players through world-class coaching, structured training, and exposure to elite competition.
