Nongstoiñ: Nongstoiñ MDC Dr. Juristman Ïawphñiaw, accompanied by his supporters, attempted to enter the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Nongstoiñ on the morning of September 30 to seek another meeting with the DC over the conduct of the staff nurse interview, but was stopped by security personnel at the entrance.
According to the information received, Ïawphñiaw and his supporters arrived at the DC office intending to meet the Deputy Commissioner before the interview began. However, security personnel prevented them from entering the premises.
The MDC reportedly spoke with security personnel and magistrates stationed at the gate, requesting that the DC be informed that they wanted to meet her and discuss the matter before the interview commenced. They were allegedly not allowed inside and remained waiting at the gate for around two hours.
Following the prolonged wait, the group attempted to force open the gate and managed to enter the compound. This resulted in a brief scuffle and pushing between the group and security personnel.
Law enforcement personnel subsequently brought the situation under control within the premises of the DC office.
