Shillong: UDP General Secretary Titosstarwell Chyne claimed that all eight MLAs of the party remain united, with most of them attending the party’s emergent meeting on Friday.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Chyne said the MLAs who attended were Metbah Lyngdoh, Lahkmen Rymbui, Renikton L Tongkhar, Ollan Singh Suin, Balajied Synrem and Nujorki Sungoh, while the remaining MLAs could not attend due to personal reasons.
He maintained that there was no division within the UDP as of now.
