Treiborlang R. Suchen has officially filed his nomination papers for the upcoming JHADC MDC elections, contesting from the War West Constituency on Thursday.
Running as an independent candidate under the War West People’s Progressive Forum, Suchen filed his candidacy at the SDO Amlarem office.
Following the submission, Suchen expressed his commitment to serve the people of War West, emphasizing his efforts to connect with village leaders and youth representatives, seeking their support in the election.
Suchen highlighted his focus on economic development, strengthening unity among villages, and preserving local culture and traditions. He also outlined plans to improve key market areas like Amlarem and Dawki, ensuring protection of indigenous people’s rights.
Additionally, he stressed his dedication to safeguarding the land, water, and rivers of the community, with a particular emphasis on uniting those residing in Block 1.
