The sitting NPP MDC from Laitumkhrah-Malki, Fatin Joseph Lakadong, officially filed his nomination papers on Monday for the upcoming Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) elections, scheduled for February 21.
Lakadong, who also serves as an executive member (EM) in the council, was accompanied by his wife, cabinet minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, along with party workers and supporters.
He submitted his nomination papers to the returning officer (RO) at the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT), Mawlai-Mawiong.
