Shillong: The National People’s Party (NPP) candidate of Sohiong Constituency and former Cabinet Minister, Samlin Malngiang alleged that the UDP are against the FOCUS schemes for the farmers of the State.
Speaking to a gathering on Monday at Krang, Malngiang have stated that the UDP have write complaints to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to put an end to the farmers’ scheme. He also urges people of Sohiong to not vote for the UDP.
The FOCUS scheme is the initiative program of the NPP led MDA government which help farmers getting a ₹5000 grant to help farmers scale up their operations.
